HaslerRail, world-leading provider of onboard vehicle control and safety systems for trains, has chosen Pilotfish’s connectivity platform WANDA™ for secure and reliable wireless download of data from their TELOC® family. HaslerRail thereby becomes Pilotfish’s first Certified Solution Provider on the WANDA™ connectivity platform.
“With Pilotfish technology, we can provide a secure and reliable data transfer from the TELOC® to a central server, making the data available for analyses in our evaluation software TELOC EVA”, says Charles Mosimann, Product Manager at HaslerRail. “TELOC data are downloaded automatically over WiFi when the train reaches a depot or at request over the GSM/GPRS networks. This enables our customers to automatically retrieve data for analysis and optimisation of their train operation, data that earlier have been manually collected from each train.”

The joint solution is demonstrated at the UITP World Congress in HaslerRail’s booth (6E100).

“We are proud to have been selected provider of wireless technology to one of the most respected companies in the public transport sector,” says Erik Nordenfelt, VP Public Transport at Pilotfish, “and we look forward to assist HaslerRail in developing the wireless aspects of the TELOC® concept by deeper integration with our connectivity platform WANDA™.”
