Pilotfish has been involved in EBSF since the start of the project due to the fact that Pilotfish has been involved in the development of a European standard for public transport.
The EBSF project proposes an open, service-oriented architecture where shared functionalityis separated from on-board applications.
Much of the shared functionality, including vehicle integration, communication and positioning, is implemented by the VG200.Pilotfish holds a key role in the project. Our responsibility is focused on connectivity betweenon-board equipment and its corresponding back-office servers, as well as of management of the on-board devices and services.
